The oath

She needed a squire. She got wool.

Before the armour, before the dragon, there was a ball of yarn.

Bundle Cat found him first. She chased him. She batted him. She lost him under the couch more times than anyone can count. And every single time, he rolled back.

So she tapped him on both shoulders. He doesn’t have shoulders. It counted. He’s insisted on “Sir” ever since.
